Throwing away those bent and twisted boards is no longer a necessity, thanks to Paul Gaunt's initiative in developing the Nobow Pneumatic Floor Tool... Nobow enables timber floor laying to be a one person operation making the laying of timber floors more efficient and potentially more cost effective.
Tom Phillips from Patchwood Floors in Yass saw a pamphlet on the Nobow at the premises of the distributor he deals with in the ACT - Fyshwick Floor Covering Wholesalers.
“I was interested straight away”, Tom stated, “and when a job came up that needed clamping I decided to hire it for a day to give it a try.”
Tom said he was so impressed with it, he wanted to buy it.
“Like all news machines it took me a bit of time to get used to it, but I reckon it now takes me half the time to lay a floor than it did before. Adjustments on the tool are really quick and easy - I'm wrapped. Now I know I can double the work, I'll use it on every job.”
